"Sold Yet Again."    There is something gravely wrong with our nation that bad luck has seen our doors. We have become a commodity so cheap that it takes little effort to go ahead and make a purchase. Sometimes our destinies are sold to outsiders and sometimes to insiders. Same misfortune has happened again. Our Mullahs have seized our destinies to the dictator for a very cheap bargain. ( I knew they had small brains). They have given him the legal right to rule us for another year. By voting to approve the amendment in the law today they have yet again given legitimate right to a person who has no legitimate right in the first place to rule us as he deems fit. The bill has been approved with the overwhelming majority of 236 to 46 while 60 dared to abstain from the voting.
Wrote something the other day but lost it all. Never mind we can always start all over again. It was Muhammad Ali Jinnah's birth anniversary yesterday. I have always admired him as a leader. In our recent history I see no other Muslim leader who manipulated and multiplied the emotions of the masses to this huge an extent. And I guess this is what made him a good barrister too his ability to take the day with one brisk and timely remark. I think one important thing for a good leader is his own belief in his work and efforts. Jinnah was fully aware of the consequences and the importance of his work. He did his homework alright even better than his opponents.
Inqilaab "Teri khudee main agar inqilaab ho paida "Ajab nahee keh yeh char soo badal jain."                                                  Iqba l.
Explain Goof to me.    How stupid does one have to get to say things like "UN resolutions can be set aside." I think as stupid as our dictator Musharraf. I don't see any reason for living as a nation now; we better get ready to get our asses kicked in United India. thanks to our asshole general whose mind is not even as big as his asshole it is a much real possibility that we will be living in a confederate India in about 5 years from now. why can't these generals just leave us alone for a while.? why do we need an army in the first place? ask me they are just waste of resources; money sent down the drain. kick their butts and put them to clean our clogged sewerage system.    and I have learnt many things in the days I haven't been able to blog. first up I have learnt the true meaning of the word busy. then I have learnt how it feels like to be operating on a patient at 3 am in the morning when you haven't slept the entire night and don't hope to...
Edward Norton.    If you have to watch movies and you really want to enjoy some time in front of the screen then Edward Norton is the right choice. He is so perfect in his assertive dialogue delivery. Whenever he gets the chance he can ask to huddle up and listen to him speak, playing with your thoughts so very beautifully. When I quote fight club every one will agree to the point made. But thats not it he has worked in movies like The score , The Italian Job , Rounders, American History X and his latest 25th Hour and always performed to the expectations. So till someone new takes his place he is the best here.
Italy bans donor sperms and eggs.    The Italian senate has moved in to pass a law which prohibits use of donor sperms and eggs or surrogate mothers. Now only those couples who are in stable relationships and are heterosexual can apply for artificial fertilization. Gays and lesbians not allowed!haha. Click here for details. via BBC News.
Workaholic    How do you define a workaholic? someone who does a lot of work excessive work for the fun of it or feels like working all the time. Why would someone have a compulsive need for work and above all still has time to join the workaholic's international network. .    work is not good you know why? because when you work someone else gets to relax and enjoy in that time at your expense. While you are there stuck with your butt on the work station the whole day and night it is others making merry at your expense. Thats how sad life is and thats what I have realized. Sad sad world it is.... But anyways life goes on and its not the same all the time. One gets what he works for so I hope to get the same even then no regrets.
Before you start.    Well before you start or think you want to strart read this "Drinking Alcohol in Moderate Amounts Changes Brain Size." Via MSN health.
The Foot in Mouth Award .    "'Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns — the ones we don't know we don't know."    hmm i think Donald Rumsfeld deserved it because as we know he knows that we know that he doesn't know what we know he knows. blah blah blah!
Post Ramdhan. The holy month is over and so are the extended blessings for the month. Hope everyone had a big part from the pie. For me the month seemed to pass so very quickly I could barely notice the fasting ritual. Maybe its the deficient time management on my part or I was really indulged in my project.    Eid was fun but busier than anticipated as the Eid holidays extended over the weekend so everyone decided to stay a little longer than they normally would. Couldn't get much time to talk to my parents either as they were too busy in their chores. For me Eid day was more or less a driving day. It is not something new; happens to me on every Eid. Abbu and Chachu would refuse to take the family around so the job is all on my feeble shoulders. I don't hate it though. Atleast this way I get to spend more time awake which otherwise I would spend sleeping.
