It is a rare occurance in the developed world. For younger generations almost unheard of. For my nephews a bizzare phenomenon but it does happen once in a while. There was a electricity breakdown here for about two to two and a half hours in the afternoon. It was a result of a thunderstorm that was accompanied with strong winds. There wasn't much left to do than wait for the electricity to be restored in the area as almost everything works with electricity from TV, Internet router to kitchen stoves.
