Fire ablaze.    Another incident another bout of anger. Bomb blast at the mosque in Karachi has left atleast 15 dead and many wounded. The incident has sparked violent protests in many parts of the city. Infact one vehicle was set ablaze by some young scoundrels right in front of my eyes. I must admit that my eyes are not used to seeing such scenes live. Looks like a curfew is in order for tomorrow atleast. I hope and pray that this continuous loss of life is plugged for the sake of the nation that is already in a turmoil.Amen.
Yet again.    Karachi hit by another wave of terror and unrest. Earlier today a Muslim mufti was shot dead in the city by unknown assailants. This provoked many to come out of their houses and show their anger at others thus resulting in injuring of 12 odd people. There is some interesting twist to today's work of killing. Although the act is deplorable yet Mufti Shamzai was a part of the delegation that went to Afghanistan to convince Taliban to give up their support of Osama. He was an outspoken critic of US policies in the region. Yet one more thing that interests me. He was showered with bullets from all sides. Assailants are thought to be more than two in number and he had three more people in the car none sustained fatal injuries except him. Quite a professional and clean act if you ask me. One that ordinary groups are not capable of doing. makes you think doesn't it. you can read further details here and here
Indian Polls and Australian Visas. Poll results in India were a surprise for majority of us. Where they were encouraging in the sense that democracy in India has picked up strong roots at the same time they were a source of reflection for Pakistani nation as a whole. Both started our journey simultaneously but where are we standing now and where are the Indians. Well now as the celebrations are over in India and things are getting clearer Pakistan is bound to think where will the new Indian govt. pick up from the peace process its predecessor started. Many have many differing views on this some say that it would be easier to negotiate with a premier who has economics in his mind and would give and take to improve economic standing of his country while other argue against the belief themselves believing that the new premier is not in a position to give anything as his party doesn't have support from the extremist part of Indian populace.    I think changing Indian Govt...

Bush falls of bike!    Bush fell of his bicycle while cycling on his Texas ranch. Seems he hasn't learnt any lessons from all these media explosions around him about Iraqi prisoner abuse or who knows this might be a tactic to win sympathy haha.    "...The facial scratches and abrasions come two days before Bush is scheduled to make a major prime-time televised speech on Monday to lay out his strategy for Iraq, as the troubled Middle Eastern nation approaches a U.S.-imposed June 30 deadline for handover of sovereignty...." Prejudice. I advise caution because what is to follow doesn't sound very nice to every ear. I have reached a conclusion after many number of traumatic events in my academic life. Words may sound harsh and prejudiced but they are facts simple plain facts so I can't do anything but say them loud and clear. In The Aga Khan University Medical School one can be a successful student only one satisfies three pre-requisites. They are:                                  1) Big Boobs                                  2)Bigger Boobs/Nice firm ass to complement                    ...
And they ask...    "Why do they hate us?" Whenever a Muslim blows himself up in israel, USA, Spain the question gains new strength in the minds of every Westerner. Books have been written in order to find answer to this question here is another article by Arwa Mahmoud. The interesting part that I found is this, "We’re looking at a policy that aims at producing non-reaction. Acquired helplessness. And they see it as the first step to a loving friendship. They’re torturing, raping and bombing their way to our hearts. And since we’re dogs, we’d continue to drool to them for attention, for love. This is their utopian vision of us. This is how they’ve chosen to run things with the people of a thousands-of-years-old civilization." Also an interesting piece of news came by . OIC has finally and for once done something useful. OIC is discussing the first charter on the rights of child in Islam to be adopted in its upcoming summit. Now this is go...
WHY?    The recent incident of arrant barbarity in the city of lights almost stunned every human soul here and around the world. The grief is immense and the action equally reprehensibe. All that is lost in property and material can and will be compensated for but that lost in form of human values and emotional affliction caused to the families of the victims can never be remunerated for in any form of money. The code orange, in the hospitals, will be over soon, mothers will stop crying for their sons and wives stop waiting for their husbands who by now are 6 feet deep under the earth. Children will cry but then they will loose hope too and cling to the chests of their wailing mothers. The mosque will be rebuilt better than before and prayers will start with more fervour and zest. But the psychological scar, i am afraid, will not leave already marred face of our fragile society. It will become a part of our subconcious and in trun give rise to a similar event. All ...
Gmail    I had the offer to be Gmail's beta user all along and I didn't know that how very sad. If it were not for Uzer I would have never known. Finally Finally it seems my ordeal is over. Once the problem lies beyond ordinary human levels these computers can be very difficult nuts to crack. Every once in a while you come across a problem that has no head or tail in ordinary universe. One gets stuck in the maze of circuitary and matrix of numbers, both of which I don't happen to like very much by the way. So it turns out that all this time I have been working with faulty RAM. And this has been giving me troubles all along. Computer has been acting all too weird. files getting deleted, windows getting stuck, many formats, reinstallations, and what not. I think I have seen a broad sprectrum of problems just because my RAM was not fit to function. Well someone can argue at this point that why did I take so long to arrive at this conclusion provided I had such a broad base of problems and that can only arise if there is some basic malfunction. So my answer is that I will ask you once you start getting similar problems (I d...
I believe its time for me to move further on in the field of machines. So I have decided to learn and then master Photoshop by the end of this month...umm end of two months...Three...Four...A year! OK thats the quality of my resolve. I was never good at keeping up with time or meeting targets. Infact thats the most annoying thing my father finds in me. Medicine has, ironically made it worst.
