Fire ablaze.    Another incident another bout of anger. Bomb blast at the mosque in Karachi has left atleast 15 dead and many wounded. The incident has sparked violent protests in many parts of the city. Infact one vehicle was set ablaze by some young scoundrels right in front of my eyes. I must admit that my eyes are not used to seeing such scenes live. Looks like a curfew is in order for tomorrow atleast. I hope and pray that this continuous loss of life is plugged for the sake of the nation that is already in a turmoil.Amen.
Yet again.    Karachi hit by another wave of terror and unrest. Earlier today a Muslim mufti was shot dead in the city by unknown assailants. This provoked many to come out of their houses and show their anger at others thus resulting in injuring of 12 odd people. There is some interesting twist to today's work of killing. Although the act is deplorable yet Mufti Shamzai was a part of the delegation that went to Afghanistan to convince Taliban to give up their support of Osama. He was an outspoken critic of US policies in the region. Yet one more thing that interests me. He was showered with bullets from all sides. Assailants are thought to be more than two in number and he had three more people in the car none sustained fatal injuries except him. Quite a professional and clean act if you ask me. One that ordinary groups are not capable of doing. makes you think doesn't it. you can read further details here and here

Both started our journey simultaneously but where are we standing now and where are the Indians. Well now as the celebrations are over in India and things are getting clearer Pakistan is bound to think where will the new Indian govt. pick up from the peace process its predecessor started. Many have many differing views on this some say that it would be easier to negotiate with a premier who has economics in his mind and would give and take to improve economic standing of his country while other argue against the belief themselves believing that the new premier is not in a position to give anything as his party doesn't have support from the extremist part of Indian populace.    I think changing Indian Govt...

Bush falls of bike!    Bush fell of his bicycle while cycling on his Texas ranch. Seems he hasn't learnt any lessons from all these media explosions around him about Iraqi prisoner abuse or who knows this might be a tactic to win sympathy haha.    "...The facial scratches and abrasions come two days before Bush is scheduled to make a major prime-time televised speech on Monday to lay out his strategy for Iraq, as the troubled Middle Eastern nation approaches a U.S.-imposed June 30 deadline for handover of sovereignty...."
