Labour-the pain!
At last my labour room rotation will be coming to an end this friday. I have lready started feeling quite relieved, though its still two more days to go. I don't understand the point of putting guys in the labour room where they have least opportunity to learn anything new in practical terms because of our social setup. Since my collegues fail to understand the attitude of patients which leads to male refusal almost all the times i can only empathize with those guys who are coming to the labour room in the coming weeks. Being kicked out of the clinics by the ladies for the sin that i am a male is annoying enough. Uselessness, i used to think, is a good thing, atleast you are doing nothing, but it has turned out that uselessness to the point of breaking is disturbingly bad experience. Anyhow i am through yet another of med school experinces. Alhamdolillah.
