LOTR
Finally I am through watching the triology. The adventure of the hobbit with minimal instincts towards any adventure has finally come to an end. The third part of the triology is the best in terms of visual effects and action. One is engulfed in the make shift world of hobbits, elves and wizards for full 3 hours. the scenery is serene and cinimatography full of twists and turns. Although one might say that the end was a bit dragged but on a deeper look one feels that it was not so; keeping in mind the total length of the whole triology. After all it was the end of a long tale that spread over 10 long hours.
If you ask me how I compare the three parts I would sway my vote in favour of the second part, The Two Towers. The sole reason being that it was balanced in between emotional drama and swinging swords and flying, wizzing arrows. But again this can be countered in that the first part was bound to be slow and emotional because in that the writer was setting the precedent for the tale. and the third part was bound to be more action stricken because all that was spread by Tolkien had to be moped up efficiently in giving the story a happy ever after finish. Only thought that strikes me is that in the days when Tolkien was writing this epic fairy tale he must have been affected by the events around him. The second world war was in full swing and maybe he found retreat in his own world in writing this novel. Either its just me or what but you can very well see the political drama very real and attached to the present day world in the tale.
Enough said about the tale of the ring now to the real world of matter and mass. Where the sheer momentum of events is sufficient enough to cause havoc in the sky that drenches our eyes with its perplexing concavity. Some news successfully carried their momentum today to my sleep weary ear drums. Scientists it seems have finally been able to spot the ever illusionary tenth planet of the solar system. And this time around they are pretty sure that it is part of our pack. Astronomers have named it after the goddess of ocean.
