Care and the customer II
It is us, doctors, who need to make sure that the services we provide to our patients are both affordable and of high quality. If we fail to do that our patients will find their relief in quacks and other pretenders of the profession. This is harmful not only to the public health in general but to the doctors in perticular. We have to make sure that we do not charge exorbitantly high fees for the services we provide. We also have to make sure that the prices of various medications are kept in check and do not inflate beyond the reach of the patient. We have to make sure that a healthy relationship is maintained between the two parties.
I guess if we are able to do all this we are in safe waters. What do you think?
