The American dream

Much has changed in the US over the course of 5 years. The gas prices have gone up by more than a dollar and other utilities have become more expensive. It is no longer a free ride with security over here. Items of daily use have become expensive too and one has to think before buying anything off the shelf. Companies have been clever so far. They have reduced the quantity just a tad bit to keep the prices stable or hiked the price and given a dissimilar increase in quantity of the product that they sell.
The burden of war is showing on the American economy. But even with all this most Americans would not agree when we tell them that the war is costing them more than they are earning out of it. I would not stick to the moral stigmata attached with being a conqueror but there are economic downfalls as well.
The question is who is profiting from all this. It is not the average American who is getting any job security or more pays or tax cuts. Rather it is the big corporations that are posting huge profits. IT is the oil companies that are looting the nation of the united. It is the Arab owners who are getting more than 100% profit out of their oil sellings. All that money these Arabs are spending like water is being extracted in most part from the pockets of the tax payers here.
Just look at the American roads. One can hardly see a car of American brand on the road. It is either Japanese or the German. Smaller cars with efficient energy use are the order of the day here.
Venture capitalists are the ones who are seeing silver lining around every cloud. They are getting rich if they have even little experience in the field.
Indian and Chinese economies are over shadowing the American economy so fast that by the end of this decade tables would have turned over the nation of the united for sure.
The second generations of the immigrants are much smarter and clever. They know their ways around and are exploiting the system to their fullest.
Americans have to give up their ventures in foreign lands in order to save their own economy perhaps. They have to peek within their own shirts to set things into order. The leader of the united is in hot pursuit of an objective that is no more than a mirage. This mirage will soon be evident and if action is not taken in time much might be lost. The American way of life will not be the only looser in this battle. The American dream will die with it too. And that means still more frustration for millions who are watching and trying to live this dream all over the world.

Learning Arduino 1

This holiday season I decided to gift myself some basic electrical components in the form of a Arduino UNO set from Elegoo. I have always had a desire to tinker with electronics and in gifting myself this basic set I am now starting on a journey to quench my inner electrical workman's thirst. I hope to develop this hobby as I move forward and will, from time to time, post about it here on the blog. As the journey moves forward I am sure to run into trouble and issues. But as they say you can not master anything without first being a fool at it, so I have decided to remain a fool at it until I am a little good at it. To start with, I do possess some elementary knowledge in electronics and electronic circuits. I intend to further my knowledge using the world wide web and following some very useful video channels on youtube. I will first start with some very basic projects to familiarize myself with Arduino and basic electronic circuits and techniques such as soldering. Then graduall...

Gluttony

There has been a recurring thought in my mind over the past many many months.  Every time I sit on the table to eat food with my  family  I thank God for giving me this opportunity to sit down and enjoy one of the basic needs of living beings.  Apart from the ability to sit down and eat with family I also do enjoy the absolute variety of tastes that are reaching my taste buds.  It is indeed a fact that our table is almost always stuffed with different  flavours by virtue of quite intricately cooked foods with lots of love.

XBOX ONE controller

I have been using the new xbox for many days now. The most important part of the console is obviously it's controller as this is the part we interact with most. In comparison to the xbox 360 controller the build quality of this controller seems slightly compromised. There is little counter weight in the wings of this controller and therefore it does not feel quite as sturdy in hand as the old one. However the shape has been elongated a bit and this actually probably compensates for the weight issue. All the buttons are within reach of my fingers which is good. One thing I have liked about the xbox controller is the snug fit in my hands. This is unlike sony's six axis controller. Those are obviously made for smaller hands. The sony controllers are much sturdier as I have learnt over the years I have had the play station. They took a lot of beating but came out winning. I don't think I expect same quality from the xbox controllers.  Also I have been getting a taste of Microso...
