Black day in Karachi

A party from the present govt. staged a show of power in the country today. The show of power turned into a show of fire power in the largest city of the country, Karachi. MQM is the party in power in Karachi and it has shown today that it can subdue anyone with its fire power through that is comparable to any small army in the world. I turned on my TV at 2 pm in the afternoon today expecting a lot of drama to have happened. Sadly i was not disapponted by the rogue MQM. First scenes that i saw on the TV were of MQM workers bearing party flags on their cars and motorcycles holding all sorts of weapons in their hands and firing indiscriminately at anyone they could see. They had ammunition in steady supply through flag bearing cars that appeared on the scene regularly to bring in more guns and bullets for the MQM bandits to play with. But soon the higher ups in the party found out that a tv channel was airing their criminal activities directly to the people of Pakistan and abroad. They could not withstand this and ordered their organized gangs of thugs to seize the headqurters of AJJ TV station and fire at will at the building. They thought they will be able to frighten the channel into submission and thus make it show footage that they deemed suitable for airing. They suceeded in making the channel do so. The channel was advised to stop airing direct footage of MQM thugs and instead show footage of the rally that the rogue party was conjouring up in the city. The channel was kept under seige for about 8 hours and thousands of rounds from sophisticated weapons were fired on its building, some even landing in the news room. There are reports that even mortor fire was used in the skirmish by MQM.While this drama was unfolding in one part of the city in other parts of the city the MQM qorkers were going berzerk and killing anyone they could lay their hands on. As footage from Al-Jazeera TV and other TV channels shows they were using automatic weapons and killing anyone they could see.Even paramedics were not spared by these berbers who claim to be civilized men of MQM. 27 people lost their lives and dozens more were injured in the slaughter that MQM staged today. One wonders what was the need for doing all this. I think the logic is simple. MQM could not muster up support for its rally today. there were hardly 20,000 people in the rally where as there live more than 10 million people in the city. Having seen its failure at bringing up its people for the rally the sadists at MQM (the biggest being Altaf Hussein himself) stirred up trouble in the city. this is their way of punishing the people of Karachi. the rule is simple. MQM is the mafia party and if you don't obey its rules you will suffer by the way of torcher and trauma of death. There was a news in the paper today. It said that 10 buses of KArachi University had been kidnapped along with their drivers yesterday. the news didn't say who was responsible. A TV footage today showed buses from Karachi univeristy parked on shara-e-faisal (the road connecting the city with the airport and the probable route of the chief justice). MQM flags were flying high on the buses and MQM thugs were sitting in them with their automatic weapons. So now we know who kidnapped those buses from KArachi University. It was no other than MQM.The chief Justice has finally been sent back ti Islamabad after MQM succeeded in creating a havoc in Karachi. I think this party is huge threat to the stability and solidarity of this country and the ideology of this nation. It should not only be banned but its leaders hanged to death in all major points in Karachi. When i write this the video of the young man lying helpless, alone and frightened in a deserted bus and crying and then fainting with due to a bullet gash on his neck plays on and on in my mind. What did he do to deserve what happened to him? Why doesn't God do anything about this? Why is He so silent?

Learning Arduino 1

This holiday season I decided to gift myself some basic electrical components in the form of a Arduino UNO set from Elegoo. I have always had a desire to tinker with electronics and in gifting myself this basic set I am now starting on a journey to quench my inner electrical workman's thirst. I hope to develop this hobby as I move forward and will, from time to time, post about it here on the blog. As the journey moves forward I am sure to run into trouble and issues. But as they say you can not master anything without first being a fool at it, so I have decided to remain a fool at it until I am a little good at it. To start with, I do possess some elementary knowledge in electronics and electronic circuits. I intend to further my knowledge using the world wide web and following some very useful video channels on youtube. I will first start with some very basic projects to familiarize myself with Arduino and basic electronic circuits and techniques such as soldering. Then graduall...

Gluttony

There has been a recurring thought in my mind over the past many many months.  Every time I sit on the table to eat food with my  family  I thank God for giving me this opportunity to sit down and enjoy one of the basic needs of living beings.  Apart from the ability to sit down and eat with family I also do enjoy the absolute variety of tastes that are reaching my taste buds.  It is indeed a fact that our table is almost always stuffed with different  flavours by virtue of quite intricately cooked foods with lots of love.

XBOX ONE controller

I have been using the new xbox for many days now. The most important part of the console is obviously it's controller as this is the part we interact with most. In comparison to the xbox 360 controller the build quality of this controller seems slightly compromised. There is little counter weight in the wings of this controller and therefore it does not feel quite as sturdy in hand as the old one. However the shape has been elongated a bit and this actually probably compensates for the weight issue. All the buttons are within reach of my fingers which is good. One thing I have liked about the xbox controller is the snug fit in my hands. This is unlike sony's six axis controller. Those are obviously made for smaller hands. The sony controllers are much sturdier as I have learnt over the years I have had the play station. They took a lot of beating but came out winning. I don't think I expect same quality from the xbox controllers.  Also I have been getting a taste of Microso...
